Water Polo as part of the Charter School PE program!

The Charter School, Urban Pathways, had a deal with the Thelma Lovette YMCA for physical education. The students would go up to the Y a couple of times a week in buses. Then part of the group would be able to be in swimming and we'd play water polo too.

SKWIM was not a viable part of our tool-box then. Wish it was. But, we had fun with water polo too.

Some great athletes. Kids got to swim. We'd just use the bench as a goal.

Sadly, we didn't keep the students engaged in the winters. Plus, I only had them in the pool for about six sessions. Then the students would rotate to other activities.
